WSCC Graduation

He did it! Paul graduated from Western States Chiropractic College on June 21, 2008. We are excited to be at this point in our lives...it's been a long road, but good things have happened along the way. We were happy to celebrate "the day" with so much family support. Thank you all for coming!
After the ceremony at the Oregon Convention Center we went out for a steak dinner at Sayler's Old Country Kitchen. When we pulled up to the restaurant we weren't very excited to see a 30 year old sign with a faded picture of a steak on it. Luckily the steaks turned out to be delicioso! Two surprises were in store; one for Paul and one for everybody else. Paul was surprised to get a new mountain bike. (And it was even the right color!) The second surprise was the big one...Paul announced that I am pregnant! Family, food and fertility make a great day!

Time to Start a Blog

I've decided that everyone has a blog but us, but I kept telling Paul that there is no reason to start one since it's just the two of us. I kept saying that we'd start one once we had something to actually talk about...we finally do! Paul and I are having a baby...I guess I should clarify that I'm having a baby with Paul! I'm not due until January 14, which I think is great timing! I get to enjoy the summer without being too pregnant and hot, hopefully we can go on vacation to some warm and yummy place (a needed late honeymoon) this fall before I'm too big to fly, and then after all the holidays are over have the new adventure of being a mommy. The timing couldn't be better as well since Paul just graduated from Western States Chiropractic College a few weeks ago (post in preparation). All he has left to do is his preceptorship (working with another chiropractor in the area) until September and take his final board exam in November which he has heard is the easiest one of them all. We went to a financial planner the other day and they asked if there were any big events happening in the near future...we looked at each other and laughed! Of course the three big ones will be on our plate at the same time: new chiropractic business, probably moving, and baby. Why does it seem to happen all at once? Trial of our faith right? We are looking forward to these scary but very exciting events nonetheless.

We hope to keep up with our blog as we enjoy reading and seeing all the events that take place in all of our friends and families lives. We look forward to seeing and hearing from you all soon!
